As much as I love the idea of traditional wedding dresses, I have always wanted to get married in something different. Something from one of my favorite designers, that can be worn for another special occasion, or become an amazing vintage in you closet over the years, and be passed on to a daughter. Maybe even something Haute Couture, that you would never wear anywhere else. Anyone else dare to be different?

Odette Jewellery

Jennifer Sarkilahti is the founder and designer behind Odette New York Jewellery. I love how delicate and organic all the pieces in her collection are. Inspired by industrial shapes, natural specimens, and travel mementos,  she begins each design with a pencil sketch which is then translated into wax using ancient and modern carving techniques, before finally being cast in various metals. 

 

Feesk Bridal Collection at the Toronto Bridal Show

Here are some pictures of the Feesk display, from the Toronto Bridal Show held at the end of 2011. We would like to say a big thank you to The Wedding Café by Susan Murray. She came up with the creative display with bird cages, sparkly linens, and hand mirrors, to help us showcase the wedding toe plug sandals in all their beauty.
