For all us ladies beginning to think fall wardrobes, this editorial is a great source of inspiration! Trends still hot - feminine florals, new trend for the season - browns and aubergine. All though I can't say I'm excited about putting my sandals away and embracing the cold; embracing it in great boots, structured trenches and beuitifull floral patterns make the thought that much more appealing.
Titled War & Peace, this editorial was shot by Victor Demarchelier for the US Harper's Bazaar September 2012 edition, and features gorgeous Eniko Mihalik.

ANNE SOFIE MADSEN - SEDNA - AUTUMN/WINTER 2012/13
I'm literally blown away by the structure and organic detailing of all these pieces from Anne Madsen's 2013 collection titled "Sedna", named after and inspired by the half skeleton and half human Inuit goddess of the underworld.
"The horror of Sedna is a tragic story of a young woman who loses her life in the arctic cold and becomes a goddess with a wish for revenge. The skeleton of Sedna is depicted in the work with techniques inspired by car vings in ivory from the Inuit tupilak figures."These are definately some show stopping pieces for the upcoming season! Mara Hoffman Scarves
Mara Hoffman is a designer every boho chick should familiarize themselves with. Known for her use of tribal and organic patterns, she's now transferred those to a line of gorgeous silk chiffon scarves, part of an exclusive collection for Bona Drag. The best part is these can be worn in so many different styles through out the year so definately worth the $120 investement.

Cristian Grossi Fashion Illustrations
The Italian Graphic artist Cristian Grossi, has a minimalistic and modern approach to his illustrations. He's now ventured out into the fashion realm and applied the same approach, creating abstract designs with a distinct love for nature and magical folk tales. We're loving his style seen in the digital graphic works, handmade notebooks, and most recently, the vibrant scarves created for Pinko. Website

André Wee - Forming and Fragmenting and Lineforms
AndrĂ© Wee is a 22 year old student of Rhode Island School of Design. He describes himself as a visual artist who is “sleep deprived from work but very oddly happy”. Considering the amazing quality of the work he puts out I say his sleep loss is definately worth it. He uses a variety of different medias from rubber bands and paper to Photoshop to portray human nature in an organic style. His latest two are titled Forming and Fragmenting and Lineforms, and present the human face and body using computer programs and hand drawings.
Being so young and already on the radar of influential blogs such as Trenland is definately a sign that he is a talent to watch!
"is a series of imagery that depict portraits that exist in an eternal state of transition. It is however, uncertain as to whether these figures are in the process of “forming” or “fragmenting” due to it existing in such an undefined state. This inability to define, ironically labels these entities as beings that embody the idea of a limbo. An experience of being of two different states at the same time and yet, not belonging to either."
